About This Event
The East Blue Regional Qualifier is our flagship event of the season — a full-day, 64-player tournament with Swiss rounds, a Top 8 single-elimination cut, and our largest prize pool of the year. Top finishers earn extra invites and seeding for future East Blue Events.
🏆 Every entrant receives a full playmat and sleeve set. Top 8 competitors play on stream with commentary.
📌 Registration, payment, and pairings are handled entirely through Best Coast Pairings. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged — this event has sold out in previous seasons.
Format & Rules
- Format: Standard (current banned/restricted list applies)
- 6 rounds of Swiss (Best of 3), followed by a Top 8 single-elimination cut (Best of 3)
- Round timer: 50 minutes (Swiss and Top 8)
- Deck lists required at check-in via Best Coast Pairings
- Certified judges on-site enforcing current official tournament policy
Schedule
- 9:00 AM — Doors open, check-in & deck list submission
- 10:00 AM — Round 1 pairings posted
- ~2:30 PM — Swiss rounds conclude, Top 8 announced
- ~3:00 PM — Top 8 bracket begins (streamed)
- ~5:45 PM — Finals & prize distribution

Important Information
- Cancellations: Refunds available via Best Coast Pairings up to 7 days before the event; after that, entries may be transferred to another player but are non-refundable.
- Eligibility: Open to all ages. Players under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Proxies: Not permitted — all cards must be official or officially reprinted product.
- Streaming: Top 8 matches will be streamed and recorded; by participating you consent to being filmed.
