About Us

Community-run, competition-focused

East Blue Events started as a handful of players wanting a reliable, well-organized place to play One Piece TCG. It's grown into a regular circuit of locals, win-a-box nights, and regional qualifiers.

Our Mission

Fair play, real prizes, no spreadsheets

We believe local tournament scenes thrive when organizers focus on two things: running a tight, fair event, and making sure players always know exactly where they stand. That's why every East Blue Events tournament — from a casual Tuesday local to our flagship Regional Qualifier — runs on Best Coast Pairings for registration, payment, and live pairings.

No cash-only sign-up sheets, no manually-tracked standings, no guessing who you're playing next. Just consistent, judge-supported competition for the East Blue TCG community.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register in advance?

Pre-registration through Best Coast Pairings is strongly recommended, especially for capped events like Win-a-Box Friday and the Regional Qualifier. Walk-ins are welcome for weekly locals if space allows, but registering ahead guarantees your seat and speeds up check-in.

How does payment work?

All entry fees are paid online through Best Coast Pairings when you register. We don't accept cash or handle payments directly — this keeps things secure and gives you an instant receipt.

How are pairings and standings shared?

Once an event starts, round pairings and live standings are posted on Best Coast Pairings. You can follow along on your phone throughout the event — no paper pairings sheets.

What format do you play?

All East Blue Events tournaments use the current Standard format under the official One Piece Card Game banned/restricted list, unless an event page states otherwise.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?

Refund windows vary by event and are listed on each event's page — generally the bigger the event, the earlier the refund cutoff. Refunds are processed through Best Coast Pairings.

Is East Blue Events affiliated with Bandai or Best Coast Pairings?

No. East Blue Events is an independent, fan-run tournament organizer. One Piece Card Game is a trademark of Bandai Co., Ltd. Best Coast Pairings is a separate third-party platform we use for registration, payment, and pairings.
