Registered for an East Blue Events tournament? Here's exactly what happens between now and your first match — no surprises, no guesswork.
Once you've registered and paid through Best Coast Pairings, you'll be added to our Discord and given the player role for that event. This is done manually by our team, so don't worry if it doesn't show up the moment you register — it's usually within a day.
Check in at the venue at least 30 minutes before Round 1 — or 60 minutes early for larger events like the Regional Qualifier (64+ players). Check-in details and any event-specific instructions go out by email and in Discord ahead of time.
Not checked in when Round 1 pairings post? Your seat is dropped and released to the waitlist, so don't cut it close.
Round pairings and standings are posted live on Best Coast Pairings — pull it up on your phone to find your table number and opponent each round. A printed pairings sheet is also posted near the judge table as a backup.
Report your result on Best Coast Pairings (or to a judge if you can't access it) before you leave the table, then wait for the next round's pairings to post.
Need to drop from the event? Do it through the Best Coast Pairings dashboard, or just let a judge know.
Raise your hand at your table — no need to leave your seat, a judge will come to you. You can also post in the event's Discord channel with your table number and a short description of the issue and someone will follow up.
